Counter-Strke fonts are huge

So I play Counter-Strike a lot. There's been a problem though. The fonts in the game such as text and FPS are HUGE. The size of them are the same as if I was running the game at 800X600. There was nothing wrong with the fonts before I formatted my computer. Is there a way to fix the big fonts because it's getting a little annoying. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

BTW, I'm running a 17 inch full screen, not wide.

edit: nvm, problem fixed. It was the resolution.....

I wonder why the fonts were small in 1152X864, but not in 1280X1024....
