There's so many versions of counter strike, wtf version do I need to play?

There is:

CS
CS: Condition Zero
CS: Source

Are they all the same things?
 
Stay away from Condition Zero. It's the least played and the least updated of the three. You can also play CZ maps on regular CS 1.6.

Source is the new version using the HL2 engine.

I still play original CS 1.6 mostly, I like the feel of it better than Source personally. The graphics are of course much worse than Source.
