Counter Strike-where do i get the game?

I was wondering if it freeware or do i have to buy it, and where do you go to play it? I want to kill people.......:Q

It is freeware but you have to have the retail version of Half-Life. You can also buy it because its a pretty big file to download off the internet-80MB.

If you have Half-Life, just download the CS mod from the official website. Otherwise, you can buy the standalone version (looks like a yellow Half-Life box) or as part of a HL bundle (Game of the Year edition I think has it -- there's one out there with multiple mods/add-ons).
