Here's the deal, when I play CS:Source I run at 1280 by 1024 4x AA and 4x AF all in game settings on high and Vsync disabled. I'm using the latest drivers from Nvidias site 77.77, and my monitor can support 100 hz at that resolution, but in game the image tears or almost where it stutters when I turn, even though im running over 100 fps most of the time and turning on Vsync doesn't fix the problem. So i'm guessing my refresh rate is at 60 or whatever CS put it to. How do I change the refresh rate? When I run at 1280 1024 with no AA or AF the problem really isn't as noticable, so I'm wondering if its a refresh rate problem or if CS just doesn't like AA as much as I would like it to :D I was also wondering if someone could through a beginers guide to overclocking at me or just explain the basics to me :D

I'm also not sure what volts my video card and CPU should be at. And any other settings I should change in my bios to boost performance.

Another question I have is about Fraps why does it lag so bad when I record, is it because of the refresh rate not matching as well or just cus it lags for everyone?

ANY and all help will be GREATLY appreciated, I want to make sure im gettin my money out of this pc :D

I run CS:S with similar display settings and have the same problem. I am running an ATI x800xl. Everything looks perfect, but when you really look hard and turn slowly you can see problems. My video card is not over clocked.

It appears to be something with AA/AF
