counter-strike: source questions

is this exactly like the original CS with just the 1 mode of play? i like CTF, does it have that? do people play that game mode? I have the original CS.

I can't find out any info on it.

There are some mods to the game, but I've never seen CTF. By-and-large, it's straight defuse the bomb or rescue the hosties. I like it that way, too. If I want something like what you suggest, I'll play UT2004.

Its the same exact game as the original except..

Better graphics.
Source engine = better physics
No CT shield 🙁 they got rid of it

I've heard rumours it has less recoil so its more noob friendly...I have it and play it and I played the original so much, I prefer original....as for the less recoil thing, it might be my imagination but I do notice a tiny bit of it, but thats just me.

Just buy it so I have someone that I can kill for abit, dam everyone playing it seems to be to good for me.

haha, well, i'm not a noob at FPS games, been playing them for quite awhile. if you want to own me, play me at BF2, i totally suck at that game.

CS:S is a hard game to get into, it has a steep learning curve but also has a large population of transplanted veterans. Its been a long time since I started playing an FPS and did horribly at the start like with this game. Usually I just sort of stink until I get the maps down, then I do a lot better.
