Counter Strike Source keeps freezing on me

Counter Strike Source has been freezing more often that usual lately, it freezes my computer, sometimes when it does i hear a couple errors, and i'm forced to restart the computer. What's the problem?

Nothing is overclocked.

I wouldn't doubt that, Steam is awful...does anyone else have this problem?
