Counter-Strike: Source Error

I just purchased HL2/CS:Source. Every time I finally connect to a server, I get a message that simply says "Bad Challenge". Fresh install. Looked on Steam's site, but couldn't find anything relative to the error. Googled, but again found nothing. Verified the correct ports are open. No clue what this error means.

Ah, thanks for the link. I *just* got the game tonight, and just updated thought I did something. Least I'm not a lone, i guess.

Yes, there is a major update for Source going on tonight. The update servers are flooded.

Definitely the worst night to install the game since 11/16/04.

Chalk another one up for getting "Bad Challenge" errors after updating.

wait until you get in the game and then someone freezes you with a smoke nade... thats always fun. ive yet to figure out how to do it, but have had it done to me multiple times.
