Counter-Strike Source artifacts/corruption

1GB Kingmax PC-3200

Corruption
I'm using 78.01 drivers. The card was running at 66C when it hapened. Either it was too hot or its those new drivers. I also noticed it sometimes on dust.

Meh, my old 6600GT PCI-E ran at ~65C idle, ~88C load, and I didn't get artifacting, so I don't think it's a heat problem. I RMA'd mine and should be getting a new one today/tomorrow 🙂

well...if its heat, open case, direct a house fan at the pc and play some games. then you will know.

is it new?

is your power supply up to it? esp since you are overclocking

hm PSU is 350w Antec smartpower. i got it xmas 2004

92C on a 6800GT and everything was still fine.

might try a nicer psu. i had one of those smartpowers...ok but it was from like 5 years ago
