Counter Strike Screen Resolution wont go over 640x480??

I did a full restore on Win XP and completely reinstalled HL&CS with all the upgrades..everything was fine until i tried to set the resolution.. it does not list resolutions over 640x480..

I have Geforce 3 Ti200 (im using latest Nvidia drivers). i've reinstalled HL and reinstalled the driver but same result..
any suggestions?
 
in all 3, software, openGL, D3d. im guessing this must be some setting in Half life most likely...

I've tried other games, Serious Sam, Sims, Max Payne... but they all work fine and all resolutions do come up.. hmmm.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! it must be one of the switches here i entered (Hlife\hl.exe -nojoy -nointro -console -numericping -noforcemparms -32bpp -heapsize 15017 -game cstrike).
when i just ran halflife alone, it did show up all the resolutions,,, whew! now its just matter of finding which one is causing it.
