Yes, I notice that the really good players gracefully just move and jump around groups of players and get multiple frags.
The cheats are killing this game and it's making it one of the lamest online games ever that cheats have access too. It's such a defective product in regards to cheats that it should have never went to the stores but then again all that Valve and Goosman want is $money$ from gullible consumers that don't know any better. Here's my post in the Games forum. You want proof of cheats well here it is.

One slash of the knife and your dead cheat.
Skin cheats, where there's a line drawn for every weapon you use, the opponents know exactly where you are an where your aiming or if there's a sniper.
Another part of the skin cheat, is where it put's a big red circle around you, so if your hiding behind a box or a wall the opponents know exactly where you are. No ambush for you.
Ever wonder why you always die with one bullet, the Aimbot cheat, you still have to aim but whatever weapon you use if they hit you it's in the head.
The no recoil cheat, meaning that any weapon can end up being a machine gun.
The Lag cheat, ever wonder why some players seem to skip there just a millisecond ahead, so your shooting where there not.
The Asus seethrough cheat, the lamer stays behind and when it's down to 2-4 players left he knows exactly where they are.
The texture recompile cheat, player extract textures from the pak and apply a mask in a program like photoshop and recompile the pak allowing them to seethrough walls.
I don't think that anyone sucks at CS, you are just the victim of a lame game that allows every possible cheat that hasn't been fixed by either Valve or Goosman. Cheats are more widely used than anyone expects. The next time you die so fast don't ask why. Just follow some of the players and you will see that it's so obvious. Until there is a unified effort to do something about it, the game will suck. It's time people start complaining about it.

Well that's no different to technology in real life & real wars in history (look at antiquity where those who had iron immediatly defeated those who still had bronze weapons), life is about cheating.

Hmmm...that's right. I do remember reading an article in the Army Times about this new weapon of war that puts a red circle around the enemy on the battlefield, even allowing a soldier to see an enemy through the wall. Another new weapon of war allows the Marine Corps to walk right through walls undetected. Get real! If the Counterstrike "cheats" were new weapons or something, I wouldn't be upset. I played CS because it has a hint of realism to it that other games just don't have. It also is more fun than those other "realistic" games like Rogue Spear.

DABANSHEE: I agree that cheating does add a level of realism to the game that parallels real life, by giving one person a distinct advantage over the other, however, the purpose of a game first and foremost is to have fun, which is why games are designed to be fair for both people playing it, unlike in war. Cheats may add to the 'realism', but the most important aspect in any game is fun, which it really fvcks up bigtime.
Yeah dood, cheats might be fun in the beginning, i mean just to screw with people and stuff, but i'd get bored of it quickly cuz i'd realize that i would probably suck without the cheats, lol.
BTW, you'd better watch out that no server ops see you. Cuz he'll ban you, NOT WITH YOUR NAME OR IP, but also with your WonID number WHICH is created from your Cd-Key. So to change your WonID, you'd have to buy a new CD-Key, i think. ( That's what i read in the counter-strike forums )
So what if you get banned from one server...there are thousands of others anyway. Banning never did scare me in multiplayer games like this.

I never played CS before, but based on HL (which I did played) and other mods (stupid PC Gamer's They Hunger Mod) I like Rogue Spear much more purely for the GRAPHIC.... (i got flamed for this but I would still stand by it, RS looks better than CS)

Comparing HL to RS is no contest. The problem is too many people see HL and assume that's how CS is. CS is hundreds of times better, and really needs to be seen to be judged.

Anyway I'm stingy too, so I've only got demo games on my computer (apparently, from what I've heard, one needs the full version of HL to play CounterStrike).
I'll admit though in the past I've FTP downloaded programz such as 'Partition Magic Pro', etc (because at the time I really needed it but couldn't afford to buy it). However I think I'd be pushing my karma & my luck (built in Trojans) if I went & downloaded all the gamez I was inclined to try.

cheats force you to adapt. sometimes after playing a game for a long time, you get really good at it and you are so good you can play with your eyes closed. that's when someone comes in with the cheats. it forces you to up your skills at a time when you have no match under normal circumstances. now when people who use cheats without first playing the game till it gets totally boring for you...then you missed out and yuou have effectively wasted your money.
