Counter-Strike IP Address problems

Two friends live in the same house. They both have computers and Half-Life 2. They want to play Counterstrike: Source, but every server kicks one of them off for "ghosting" because they have the same IP. My friends want to play together but they can't and they're really disapointed. Anyway to get around this or possibly convince Charter to assign them two IP adresses or something?

Thanks

steam powered

And that will prevent the public server from kicking one of the guys out for having the same IP address because they might be "ghosting"?

I mean, let's face it...anyone can ghost via telephones, skype, vent, etc...so it's just ridiculous.

not sure...the ghosting check might be a server dependant plugin, unrelated to steam. if so, no real way around it. i doubt charter will give out 2 ip's, and if they do youll wind up paying for it.

That sounds like an anti-ghosting plugin... Have they tried a few different servers?

People LAN CS all the time..

Mani admin plugin has a anti-ghosting option, I cant remember if its enabled by default, but you are probably just going into servers with some sort of anti ghosting thing. I dont know of a way to get around it unless you find a server without the option
