counter strike FPS

i've amd 900, 512 ram windows ME. Geforce4 Ti4200.

i played counter strike and im gettin' 50-70 Fps with Ti4200..is that correct? what should i be gettin'..?

My tbird 1.2 w/ a geforce 2 gts normally stayed at or just under the monitor refresh rate of 75 Hz. I would say your system should stay relatively close to the refresh rate too. If that happens to be the case, your fps might be just about right. You can always try disabling vsync.

in the config file... the max fsp is set to 75 or 99... i dont remember... try setting it so that it max fsp is 200 or something... and my fsp maxes at 100..( i know my video card can do at least 200 in CS) but the fsp graph 3 shows that my fsp is 99/100 and it jujst keeps ticking at that ###

100 is said to be the theoretical fps max on that game engine.
I get 99 with my GeF4 4200, as I did also with my first generation GeF3.
Some truth in what the two previous posters said. Make sure your config file states fps max 100 and get your monitor refressh rate up to 100 as well. I do think I have vsinc disabled too. That ought to do it.
