Counter-Strike error, Please help

hi, my friend has counter-strike reatail, Japanese version of WinME, and a Geforce2 Ultra. He installed the 1.1 CS retail update and whenever he joins a server, he gets this error -> "could not connect the game your.Dll cl_dll/dient.dll differs from the server's" any ideas?

many other folks ran into that problem when updating. there's a small patch available to fix it, although i can't quite recall the file name off the top of my head. if you're unable to locate it, drop me a PM with your email and i'll send it your way when i get home later today.
