counter-strike 10x7 refresh rate problem

alright, first off my desktop res is 10x7 @ 85hz. when i play max payne set at 10x7x32bpp it plays at the normal 85hz however, when i play counter-strike at 10x7, it goes back to 60hz therefore causing slow performance. a couple days ago it was playing at 85hz. im trying to figure out whats wrong but, i cant yet. if anyone can help me out, i'll greatly appreciate it. hope EVERYONE has had a great Christmas. take it easy! -davo
