Counter Spy

I am using Counter Spy for spyware detections...The moment my windows start, it automatically loads counterspy in the background protection but i am not scanning yet...

I notice that Counter Spy slows down the responsiveness of my PC and when i uninstalled it, my PC is running fast again...It's not too slow, it's just slow when entering my computer and clicking folders....

Any explainations..???

perhaps it is doing realtime scanning while you click on the various folders?

I am not familiar with Counter Spy, maybe you should give a couple other spyware programs a try and see how they behave.
