Ignore the below, after reading digits.com policy page I located this - Any automatic measures taken to artificially increment the value of a counter is expressly forbidden. This includes placing a counter on a page that users are encouraged to reload - please stop untill I get a different counter up!

I think I will completly discontinue the project, it is quite a bit of work to keep the stats updated and I dont want to get into trouble with digits.com If it wernt for the rule about "automatic measures" I would continue to do it.
I guess when I get my private T3 line next week I'll set up a counter on my own server.😀

If you find yourself bored tommorrow why not put in a couple of minuets hitting the counter?
"The push" will begin at 04:00GMT today and end at 04:00GMT Saturday night.
Give It a Shot < go to downloads and follow the directions.
Lets shoot for 5 million.

I just did todays stats and it ended at 12,000,001 so I guess the goal is for it to read 17,000,001 by this time tomorrow.

Gee..won't your internet provider be upset when we crash their whole system due to the dos attack you are asking us to perform for you?

If you run the file off of the server...yes, but if you download the html file to your hard drive, there is no transaction to their web sever.

I thought I was the only one left doing anything with this. Every time I bring it up on a computer, it increments one at a time.

probably, but i'm sure that between the thousands of counters they provide this is a small ammount.
