You sound angry. And I was one of the few on here who was surprised Obama took so much flak for the oil spill disaster.

Come on . Putting clean sand on top of oil soaked sand wasn't a proper cleanup. It was on obummers watch . The people affected were not properly compensated for BD retard drilling operations

You still sound like shill.

I don't see how your surprise at a weak GOP scandal attempt on Obama invalidates the revisionist history you still resort to concerning the monumental fail of Bush before and during Katrina.

When I hear that a politician, or figure like Bush, places a person like Brown in charge of an org as important as FEMA, yeah that makes me kinda mad. Shills like you who would prefer that shameful time just not be talked about at all and who try to represent the views of others makes it all the more irritating.

You seem to take exception with "the left." Fine. Now see if you can express that without acting like you can speak for them or their many positions. We have enough straw flying around the place don't we?

I dont feel like arguing over my honest surprise people were criticizing the admin about the oil spill. You wouldnt believe it anyways.

And there was no revisionist history regarding Katrina. The land area affected was the size of MN. His admin was criticized because people were still not receiving help a few days after the the storm passed. Do you believe the movies when the hurricane passes here comes the help and all is well 30 minutes later? Holy christ get some perspective on the literal size of the disaster. Was there mistakes made? Of course there was but to think FEMA could cover that much area effectively in a few days is simply put, naive wishful thinking. And a lot of the criticism was driven by politics.

So far both msnbc and fox are politicizing the event.

Msnbc is going with Romney wanting the states to fend for themselves in natural disasters and fox is going with Obama doesn't have much affect on how this event is handled but he will get the benefit of looking presidential and they are continuing with the benghazi "incident".

Too be fair, Bush took a huge hit because Katrina was his fault. Will the Right do the same? Maybe, but I visit a site that is most illuminating in terms of what the Right thinks. So far they are cracking jokes, but their serious ire is directed at the Libyan incident.

Ok this is sick but funny.

The really sad part to me is that we can't afford to add to the deficit by cleaning up after the storm. All the damage will just have to stay on the ground and everything remain unrepaired. The time is past when Americans should be looking to the government to help them. Time for the 47% to wash away
