Couldn't post a poll

I tried to post a poll, I got a 2nd pop up bax, submitted the question and 5 choices, closed the box, selected preview and it didn't show, selected 'edit' and the poll showed ok, submitted the post, but NO poll. I went back to edit the post and only the body of the post showed, no poll!
I'm running Opera V7.5 and the most recent JavaRE. Before you blame Opera, I validated the page and got this error message along with 377 others!:
"This page is not Valid !"
