i was doing a google search for differences between dvd +-

if you scroll down to the second page of the McLaughlin document, it's the exact same as anandtech one save for a couple word changes.

i assume this isn't a pressing issue as the guy's main page says it's just a collection of documents and he forget where he got most of them. I didn't really check to see if he teaches/sells the information.

Looks like it shows up a few places.

There are minor variations in the words used, but it looks like this document has been used a few times. I don't know which one wrote it first though.
