Could you survive on a deserted island?

So yeah you're fscked now. Stranded on an island eleventy billion miles from buttfsck Egpyt. What the hell are you gonna do? You're screwed.

Could you survive? Do you think you could make a fire? Catch some fish? Would you nef in the sand with a stick?

I don't know if I could survive. On the other hand, if there were a lot of crabs, maybe I could have some nice crab one night for dinner.

jungle boogie

Would this deserted island have high speed internet acces? If so, then yes. If not, then I don't know how I'd survive. I mean, how would I order computer parts, find out movie times, look up directions, or get the number for chinese food?

I'm confident that I could survive.

It would, of course, depend on a lot of things.

If we're talking about an Aleutian Island, survival would hinge on being able to start fire before you froze to death.

If I did not have my flint and magnesium kit, I am honestly not sure if I could get a fire started, even though I know how, and some of the technicalities of doing so. It's much, much more than rubbing two sticks together.

If it was a tropical island, you would still need fire.. but not necessarily for warmth.

Actually, starting a fire on a tropical island may be even harder. I would have no clue as to what woods have the correct properties... I guess you could figure it out with trial and error.

I don't claim that it would be easy, but I'm confident that I could survive longer than most others.

Would you be searching for any special plant life native to the island Eli? 😉

Hmm...

That would definitely make the scenario much easier to deal with. 😉

Although, the munchies would be a real killer.. :Q
