I'm just asking because, i recently got into contact with her, and we've hung out a few times, but there just something strange about it.

Only if the ex-girlfriend's sister's ex-boyfriend's exgirlfriend didn't know her best friend's ex-boyfriend's sister's cousin.
 
My checklist for dating:

[ ] - 50% of all appendages visibly ok
[ ] - No closer than 2nd cousin
[ ] - Able to not drool for at least 30 minutes at a time
[ ] - Total weight of medication taken per day is <=1 pound

Now if you can check off two of those boxes, you are golden!
