No, you can't tell the difference.
There is almost no difference between AGP4x and AGP8x.
Also, SLI cards run PCIe 8x on 2 channels (16 split between the 2 cards), and they don't suffer from it.
At the moment, we don't need the extra bandwidth offered by PCIe 16x for graphics cards.

lol ur specs are strange man, a 6800OC, and a p4 EE, with... 512mb ddr 333?? get 1024mb dude, make newer games alot faster, and windows too.. it is very much ur bottle neck :l
 
yeah i know, im gunna get 1024MB soon. well.....see the thing is, i might sell this rig to my aunt. and build a new rig with a 3.46EE. and let her have this one. so when i go to visit her we can game down there to.
 
lol why another EE.... not worth the money, considering there are cheaper, faster alternatives imo :thumbsup:
