could you real life rpg?

are vagrants essentially real life rpgers, rpgers in the classical adventure sense..i suppose one could argue that life itself is an rpg?
what equipment would you have at the outset?
i think my fishing pole and hunting knife are a must, and some kinda roll up blanket.
i could stop by brooks pharmacy for a pipe.anyhow, it would have to be a legal adventure,where would you go and what would you do?

Sure, I started with a knife and pistol, and have looted sacks full of bottle caps from the bodies of the vagrants I've met.

I'm having trouble finding people who will barter for the bottle caps, but they will trade me stimpacks for the extra knives and guns I've found.
