Could you go without all your gadgetry, toys, and electronics for 1 month?

Yes, but what possible reason would I have for wanting to? Why would I want to go on a trip without GPS and mapping software? Some deluded quest for simplicity?
 
I didnt say anything about going camping or going on a trip😉 I mean in your regular day to day lifestyle, could you go without?

Again, could yeah. Would? No, since there's no good reason.

At the end of the month I'd just be getting used to not having a calculator again.
 
Also, remember 'technology' goes all the way back to fire. Placing an arbitrary line at technology less than thirty years old is silly, I suggest a challenge to use NO technology whatsoever. No fire, no clothes, no buildings, no spears or clubs, no rock tools, no medicine, no axes, and on and on.

Remember, everything you do is a technology, even communicating verbally and writing.
 
I'm going to limit the gadgetry to things like cell phones, computers, pda's, little things like that. I could do that as often when I'm bored, I just go riding on my bike. That, and the GF will be seeing a lot more of me during that month.

Seriously talking though, if the world went to chaos, I'd probably grab my sig and could survive well enough provided I don't get killed by someone else.
 
I think I could. As much as I love spending time on the computer playing PC games when I get home from work... I really do enjoy getting outside and going fishing or doing some bird hunting. The outdoors is fun to me as well, so I don't think it would be a huge issue except for maybe a shower... but i'm not sure that would count as "technologically advanced".
