Could We Record Our Dreams?

I've always had very vivid and strange dreams that I normally remember in great detail. This is quite interesting and am anxious to see how far it goes. (the last couple minutes are where it gets pretty interesting)

That would be awesome. I can get some vivid dreams sometimes but they don't happen all that often. Most are also really messed up and make no sense, making me ask "why???". One thing I'd love to do is reconstruct a 3D model of the world that exists in "dream land" because that world is consistent between each dream. Everything from places in my city to my house is always the same. Though there may also be more than one dimension so I may possibly have a dream where it happens in an alternate one.

I saw a documentary about this a few years ago, and they had similar video footage as was shown in the YT clip above, but I can't remember where I saw it.

Honestly, it kinda freaks me out...for some reason the idea gives me the same feeling I got watching Flatliners, like you don't want to explore it or something bad will happen.
