Recently myself and couple of friends have been getting ddosd. Its at the point that im annoyed because i know whos doing it but i don't know how to stop it. I know he pays for a site that all you do is resolve the skype name an ip address to get an ip then they put a timer from 1 second-3600 to dos the person. From what i can tell its been anywhere from 1-5 servers. Really getting sick and tired of it. Looking on what i can do to prevent this.

Also forgot to add that, you add what port and what type of attack you want to use whether it be UDP, TCP,rudy, some other ones idk.

When i get a chance later today i think im going to try the Skype proxy. Seems to be the most promising for my friends and I.

was reading some info on just hiding IP all together from skype, doing something with registry will try that when i get a chance, and post about it.

If you know who is doing it, why dont you tackle it from that angle instead of going the long way around and trying to find a technical fix?

use a VPN proxy?
if you know who's doing this can't you take said individual to court for violating some law or another, or is this just a personal feud?
