Oh no, the dollar might fall. At least a fvcking plane won't hit me where I work/live. I also think you are being a bit dramatic. This loss of life is terrible and I would never wish it on anyone, but the financial impact is insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

i disagree. now is the perfect time to talk about the next step and what fellow americans should demand of each other.

if i personally had any arab friends that were donating to any arab causes where money was being sent to arabian countries i would have SERIOUS words with him.

it isn't a witch hunt. its a fact that american dollars are being sent by "americans" whether they be of arabian descent or muslim by religion, to help support these terroists attacks. i say we cut the funding immediately.

i'm sick of AMERICAN DOLLARS going out to pay for these TERROISTS ATTACKS. and don't try to tell me that they could do this on ZEAL alone it takes dollars.

and while i'm on the topic i say we string up and hang all gun runners too. anyone selling arms to countries outside the us no matter what you think the cause is, should be hung.

I'd definitely agree with you if someone would have claimed the responsibility of these attacks, but right now we have absolutely no idea who did this. Of course everyone suspects Bin Laden, but until we have proof, I don't think we should be talking about bombing anybody.

Osama gave threats three weeks ago about a possible mass attack and this *could* be it.

Whomever did it (Osama or not) were well co-ordinated. It doesn't take a lot to necessarily hijack a plane, but it does take a good bit of knowledge to fly a plane, into a specific area. I wouldn't bet money against Oslama, but there definitely could be others who wanted to do this.

My thoughts are that everyone is focusing too much on Bin Ladin...... of course it's very, very possible that it's him, but we shouldn't rule out others. I think that while massive and well planned, this would actually be less than incredibly difficult to plan and execute. We've been very lucky that more terrorist attacks have not happened here. Terrorism is so frightning because of the very nature of terrorism. If you have people willing to give thier life for a cause, it's very easy to do something terrible to a vastly unsuspecting city. Of course, all that said, with the statements made 3 weeks ago (which I heard earlier, but didn't catch who made them, apparently it was Bin Ladin), it would seem that Bin Ladin is very much the prime canidate.

Sadly, what can be done about this???? What really could have been done about this even intelligence-wise?

Or there might be more to come. What if they got their hands on nukes? Even a smallish tactical nuke detonated in some big city (LA, Chicago...) would cause MASSIVE damage! Or biological warfare...
