Heard about this glitch this morning. Website is down for me but my wife is able to get to it. Any orders that get processed will be cancelled of course.

I always find it interesting to see what people's ethics are. "We know we're screwing over a major company, but they're a major company, so who cares" seems to be pretty common.

Obvious glitches obviously. Who in his right mind would expect the store to honor those prices?

Dang they had some video games for $18 that I bought. One was a 3DS game so I didn't think anything of it, but the other was BF4 so I made a separate order for it.

Since I only looked at video games, I didn't realize this was all over the place. Makes it more obvious that it was likely an error.

Over the summer I ordered the standing Nokia wireless charger from Paydeals. Was supposed to ship out and I got a tracking number pretty quickly. However, it took over 2.5 weeks for the charger to show up...when it did, I saw why our poor postal minions had trouble with it.

There were TWO packages, each with a charger, same tracking number, same invoice inside, etc. Ended up contacting them, they gave me a prepaid shipping label and $5 back for my time sending it back to them.

I *really* wanted to keep it, but I have to look myself in the mirror every day and try to set a good example for my kids.

I did offer to keep it if they didn't want it back though :p :D

I loathe the same attitude in folks who see a deal for hardware, buy up all the stock to close out the sale so no one else can get that discount price, then sell them for normal price to others.

Fucking thieves.

Strangely, the cheapest replacement white iPad 2 glass/digitizer in the US on eBay when I ordered last month was one that included the adhesive, home button, and camera brackets pre-installed. The camera bracket was not straight which created a small crack over the FaceTime camera but the price had dropped again so I ordered two more. In the mean time I gave the iPad back to the owner while we waited for the part. I got two parts over two days! Now that coworker is no longer employed here and I may not see the money but I still have as many parts as I paid for. Even though that seems fortunate, I contacted the seller and told them about the error. They want be to test them both and get back to them if one is defective.

It feels good to do the right thing.

Well just got confirmation emails for both my games being ready to pick up.

I've lost so much damn money from faulty products or poor build quality made to only last just long enough to make it past the warranty period. Companies run on pure greed and try to screw the little people over non stop. Often even running you around in circles on purpose until you give up. They would grind you up for meat if the government would allow it. It's like their mission to only care about profits at all cost and exploit at every corner, not to mention the lies, payoffs, and government corruption involved often times. Many even resulting in deaths from certain products or drugs, or foods. If I can get a little bit of that money back I'm going to do it. It always only goes one way. The buyer taking it up the arse and always losing something.

I got a couple of 3DS games for my son. Already got the email to pick them up. I actually had the Samsung 55" TV in my cart for ~$300 for store pick-up but decided that it would be too greedy (and I have no space for it :D).

I honestly don't know how the price match thing could have worked. Something marked down 70% has to throw big red flags. How do managers just approve something like that?
