Could this be possible?

When Halo 3 first was available for preorder, the clerk said to me that the legendary edition was going to be $100, from what he said, I reserved it ($50 down). Now that the price was raised to $130?could I argue the only reason I preordered the legendary pack was because the clerk guaranteed me that it would cost $100 and therefore I should only have to pay the $100? Not that I would ever do this but I can imagine that there might be somebody out there upset because they were willing to pay $100 for the pack but not $130?just a thought.

He gets your $50 already, he is going to walk you like a dog. You lose once you reserve an item with cash.

Eh, I think the worst that can happen is that you get your $50 back and therefore lose your place in the preorder line.

I highly doubt you can get it for $100.

not it wont. If you look at your receipt it should say what amount you put down and maybe alse the total price of the product. If it does, I am sure you get for the hundred because of there fvck-up.

im never going to play it, so im not going to bother looking it up. ill assume its a dvd in a fancy box with some coke or something in it so you can play the first 24 hours without a break.

Don't get your panties in a wad....you can still buy the regular version at the regular price. You don't have to pay the $130. It's a neat little collector's type thing for those who want it.

I tried talking myself into preordering it before, but absolutely couldn't stomach the $100. Now I'm glad I didn't preorder.

It costs too much? Don't buy it, get the regular version instead. Still too much, don't buy it. Is that a hard concept to grasp?

The cost of creating an elite game is going up, don't expect the prices not to follow suit. Don't like it? Make your own business that makes high quality games cheap. Not as easy as it sounds, and no one's in it to not make $$.

If you found a stash of <insert drug here>, would you sell it to someone you knew that was addicted to it? Some people actually have morals.

Not that I'm implying that Halo is even remotely addicting or fun, of course. ;)

What is the regular price? From what I read, it's gonna be $60.

That's pretty regular for over-hyped games these days. Doom 3, for example.

I just need to find my receipt.... it says the price was $100 and that I only have something like $70 left to pay on it.

Why people reserve sh!t, I have no idea. If you don't get it on the release date, guess what? You'll be able to get it later.
