Ello! I'm sharing a 1 Mbit/s cable connection with my flatmate...wireless network.. everything's fine n dandy tho the thing is, when I constantly hog the bandwidth (say, download a 700 mb movie) everything gets real slow on my friend's pc and even browsing becomes quite slow.. likewise when its vice versa.

I was thinking if there's a way to like halve the bandwidth, hence giving me 512 and giving him 512.. or anything that ensures i still got a decent connection on this pc even if his pc is downloading a helluva lot stuff..
