I'm no medical doctor nor scientist, but more and more I believe this may be an airborne virus transmitted thru the air more so than spread thru contact transmission. And, if we can believe China, the virus may eventually burn itself out and no longer pose a threat. China claims no new cases, no new infections. If this virus is indeed airborne and transmitted thru the air, it may reach the limits of multiplication and spreading as it becomes unable to survive in the air. If the virus does indeed have a limited life span and eventually dies off on its own then that may explain why no new cases in China. This could explain how and why the virus spreads so rapidly in the first place with spreading thru the air and not so much person to person. When you think of how fast the virus spreads, the concentrated areas of high infection, and now the transmission can simply die off down to zero as reported from China, air transmission would be more logical than contact transmission. We may see the same trend in Italy, eventually, with again the virus simply reaching a limit then disappearing. No new cases, no new infections, and those already infected either surviving or succumbing to the virus. With the important conclusion of no new transmissions. This could be the good news, however the bad news.... if this is an airborne virus and we now have major outbreaks on both our east coast and our west coast, this virus could spread airborne across the entire country within the next weeks. Spreading from east to west and from west to east with eventually covering the entire country. Covering the entire United States of America. And eventually, as with China, reaching its limit no longer able to survive in the air and no longer a posing threat. Again, the virus simply dies off. Yet, in the mean time and if my theory is at all correct, we will see untold hundreds and possible thousands infected and deaths across America very much as we have seen over in China and Italy. If this virus is an airborne virus then truly the worst it yet to come. It all depends on where the wind blows.
