Everybody mentions Blazing Saddles, Airplane and Animal House when discussing this topic. But what about Pretty Baby or Summer of '42?

Others?

The Wanderers comes to mind. Kind of an obscure film from the late seventies. I just watched the first part a few weeks ago and couldn't believe the scene in a high school classroom where the teacher pitted the different races of students against each other to try to make a point.

There are quite a few movies that have language that would now be unacceptable.

No way Pretty Baby would be made today. I'm sort of shocked you can even still buy it.

Not sure you could do Airplane identically, but I think you could get pretty similar.

Not really a movie but most of the old school cartoons would not fly today, like Bugs Bunny and cartoons of that era. I actually recall hearing that people wanted to cancel Pepe Le Pew because they equate it to promoting rape or something like that. People really dig deep to try to find stuff to be offended at now days instead of just seeing fiction entertainment for what it is, fiction entertainment.

Apparently no movies can be made on any topic if it requires actual human actors. This month's bombshell of studios not wanting to use humans anymore and instead use AI generated analogs is just the 13th inning of a disaster in the making and one I will no support.
