Dumsfield was great too. This is a humane war. 'We can bomb one target and not another target.' Right Dummy, I think you meant we can hit the target and avoid hitting what isn't a target, NO? And yes killing everybody at the target site is very very humane. Wow? We should have passed out lethal injuction kits to the Iraqi command. But hay, war is pease, death is liberation.

One thing the protestors have accomplished is to teach the Admin a whole bunch of new concepts, the best of which is that the oil fields are the treasure of the Iraqi people. We are going to liberate the people of Iraq, we are only after Saddam, and so on and so forth. Never in history has a war been fought for so many changing reasons. But the Admin doesn't look at polls. AHAHAHAHAH Yeah, I know.

Sorry you missed me thebest, I been smelling the roses.
Moonbeam, Where were you sitting in the Pentagon briefing room during the press conference? I was wondering which individual you were.

I don't ask stupid questions, I answer them. You're answer is that I was not there.

Seems like? Comic releif is the only reason they let her in, she has no longer has any legitimate reason to be there.
Bill

Yeah man...she is a crazy old bat. WTF is she doing there anyway? Isn't she retired now or doing something else besides reporting?

Also there are several reasons for a war to take place....not just one. This is for ALL of the following... Liberation of Iraq, To get rid of Saddam Hussein, To destroy the WMD in Iraq so no one else can use them on us or any other nation (National Security).

You simple minded folk can only seem to focus on one particular reason at a time and think that people mentioning another reason, is them CHANGING the reason behind the war. What an idiot.

ahhhh, there is the moonbeam we all know and love...

Max, while you'll be sad to know the person who fell from the Golden gate wasn't me, the result was almost the same. I troll there for the Greater Conservative Blow-hard tuna, the WASP fish, and other denisons of our costal shallow waters.

Well, you are really wrong this time. You cant even begin to argue this one. I am VERY happy it wasnt thebestBRO who fell. Shame on you (again) for thinking that I could feel that way about anyone. 😉

BTW, what did you catch?? Mybe the very devious cold-war fish or just a cold??

The classic SNL skit about reporters asking ridiculous questions at a briefing can be seen here.

Definitely not all that different from real-life!

"yeah they ask some dumb questions.

the one lady kept asking questions about Bush watching tv. sheehs! who cares if he watches TV! i doubt bush needs to watch CNN to know whats going on.

I wish hte guy would of just said "ok that was a dumb question, Next!" heh "

It shows how self-important the media believes itself to be.

I think her ego was hurt. She couldn't believe that Bush doesn't sit at home and watch her reports to get world news.

Your first post in here was classic, moonbeam.

CPA says clasic Moonbeam and you say, clasic, Moonbeam, yawolabi. 😀

thebestMax, I know you were just kidding. I'm you door to the future, I know. The way the world looks from under the Golden Gate is the way the wolrd will be seen by all in 20 years. But that's also kind of why it's a target. NPR ran an article today talking about the fact that California really does think differently than the reat of the nation. But of course. We live in a power spot of the earth, where negative ions generated over thousands af miles of empty ocean sweep inland to charge our propaganda deadened brains. There is synergy of consciousness here. Wise men walk our streets, and the shadows of reality reflect strongly on the walls of our cave.

If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair. Hey, in the sixties, somebody explowded an LSD divice over The City and the radiation damage has beed destroying the Blue Meanies and Apple Bonkers ever since. Slates got wiped clean of all but love. For a brief moment the white ray that imminates from the galactic core penetrated the buffer of contempt the forces of darkness have woven round our distant world. There came a Summer of Love. The window closed, but the ashes are still hot. We have been contaminated. The echos of Eden still bring people to the street. This is the land of Homo Californicus. Join us for we are bound for stars.

Oddly enough, even LA is different. It just isn't quite as advanced as SF. The white ray beam hit the moon reflected and zapped San Francisco almost directly. Some of the folk on acid were advanced hundreds of years. The damage in LA was collateral but real.

Another of those nagging questions answered😀

Time to update this thread. Its getting worse!!

Reporter really pissed off Rumsfeld today.

PARAPHRASE: "If the number of injurys to deaths is very low, is it being under reported??

Rumsfield lost it at that one.

Hi Moonie,

Liked your LA answer!! At least now you have admitted to taking drugs at lest once in your life. 😉 Lucky it was just that day, isnt it? 😀

(Advanced hundreds of years is just a little overstated, dont you think??)

Seriously. That one reporter was totally fixated on Bush's TV watching habits. Fetish maybe?

Nah, I was just part of the collateral damage. All that stuff happened way back there in the Light Ages. I'm at best only 10 or twenty years ahead. 😀
