After a bit of luck with a now working AM2 system (only single channel, not dual) I've a few simple questions (for most of you) with regards to testing and overclocking/tweaking my system??
I'm currently running at 11x246 with a 1.425vcore on the CPU and I'm using Go - Orthos beta program to test the stability and the normal 3D Mark and PC Mark programs. Its been running for some 55 minutes plus now!! Is that good?!
I was just wondering how I might tweak the memory and also see if I can manage anything further with overclocking the CPU? I have managed to get it posting around the 10x270 mark but not used the Orthus program to see how stable it was. It will post in 11x256 but I think I need more voltage because it exits out 3DMark Anything I can do to try and get it working?
I'm just using the standard cooler at the moment and I've a OC Z 520W Mod Stream PSU and Geil PC6400 DDR2 ram that runs well in DDR 800 mode, but with 5-5-15 timings? I take it I could try lowering the timings a bit?
Any advice or help would be greatfully recieved and appreaited
