could someone explain the differences between AA: Overmatch and BF2 ?

AA s pretty tough, but then i am a n00b....i spent most of the time spectating because i get shot and then have to wait minutes for the next round.

How's BF2 in comparison ?

You respawn instantly (well 15 seconds) at a held command point of your choosing after you've died without medic revival. The maps have 5-8 hold points that your team has to capture. The more you capture, the faster your opponents points decrease. Whoever hits 0 first loses.

Pretty nice graphically. over 1 gig of ram is a must if you want high textures though, but the medium textures look alright. I really liked it except for the bugs so I sold my copy. Doesn't give problems to everybody, but they were bad enough to make it unplayable for me.

the demo was horrible, the vehicles were so off and the upgrade system is moronic. BF2 is much better.

While I enjoyed playing BF2 at LANs, 2142 is a 50 dollar mod for BF2 and I have no intention of paying for it.

BF2 is superior to BF2142. Be warned, however, that BF2 is rather problematic for quite a few people. Keep that in mind before buying it.

If your looking for realism stay with AA.
BF2 is a joke of a arcade game. You need to empty a mag just to frag 1 person and accruacy is a fracken joke.

I stoped playing AA beacuse of the long wait times between spawns but I do like the realism.

I think the Delta force series was the best balance between realism for weapon killage and accuracy and the arcade style respawning.
