I received payment in the form of e-gold recently, but I really need to use paypal instead, so could someone convert this for me?
I'm not very familiar with e-gold so I'm not sure if gold value fluctuate or not, currently it shows in my account as following

e-metal : Gold
Weight (oz. troy): 0.129934
Equiv. grams: 4.0414
USD Equivalent: $49.73

I'll take $45 paypal so basically paying you slightly under 5 bucks as a thank you.

If this is posted under wrong forum please lemme know and I'll move it, I posted it here since I've seen people giving paypal as reward for certain help.
I got feedback under heatware name: Webnewland
as well as eBay feedback under zhiye@yahoo.com
Feel free to contact me either thru email or PM and I'll try to get back to you ASAP

Thanks

That seems really silly.

What if the price of gold fell through the floor? Bye bye company.

The company uses other different metals as currency as well, such as silver/platinum/palladium etc.

When was the last time that happened? I would say gold is quite stable and it usually goes up when shite hits the fan.

it could be argued that gold price stays the same and it's our dollar that is doing the changing, because generally when there's a significant change with the price of gold, there's a readjustment with the price of necessary goods. (gas, groceries)

It's a lot better than using a non-backed currency. You do realize if tomorrow the US government declared the current currency non-negotiable there'd be a lot of poor people.

It happened during the civil war once.

Gold will more than likely never become worthless...there is an attraction to it that many have....plus it's uses are also important.

I don't buy into the e-gold thing from an insurance standpoint.
