I was installing win2k, and for some reason it couldn't copy the file win32k.sys. I've used this copy of windows several times on my computer, so I don't know why its not working now. If some one could e-mail it to me (brunelle77@yahoo.com), I would like to try to copy it into its directory and see if I can finish the setup. Just the file from an already installed win2k (not the CD) should work- it should be in folder winnt/system32/. thanks.

I don't have that file on my Windows 2000 system. The closest thing I could find was win32k.sys. Is that it?

why is that crazy? Is it a huge file? Anyway, I've tried reformatting and re-installing several times (like 5+). I also tried cleaning the disk and using a friend's copy, but to no avail. I'm not sure what's up, but I thought if I put in the one filing that's missing, I can get it going.

The file is 1.64 MB. I will try to e-mail it to you. It is win32k.sys from the C:\WINNT\System32 directory of my installation of W2K Pro.
