Hi, recently i flashed the bios on my Asrock N68-S motherboard.

After rebooting i recieved the error "MAC address are invalid in both CMOS and flash"

After some research on the net i was directed to the ASUS Mactool to rewrite the MAC address as needed, unfortunately when i boot with the DOS disk i recieve a new error stating "Warning: Address line A20 already enabled" the program freezes and i have to perform a hard reset.

I've looked all over the net, and only find topics on switching off gate A20 or the turbo switching function.

Unfortunately there is no option to enable or disable this function in my bios.

If anyone can offer advice on how to fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post the Autoexec.bat and Config.sys files from the DOS disk you got?

It's a bootable DOS cd rom that contains 3 files : MA, MAC and an MM MSdos batch file

you can get a copy of it here

If that's the only files on the disk (I downloaded the .zip and looked), it's not a bootable disk. There are no Microsoft operating system files.

You need to make a bootable CD and add those files to it. Then boot it up and run the .bat file.

At the minimun, a DOS boot disk needs:
IO.SYS
MSDOS.sys
COMMAND.COM

Besides, that's for VIA integrated MAC, not NVIDIA. You don't need a MAC writing utility for NVIDIA integrated LAN. Its built into the BIOS flash utility for AMIBIOS. Contact ASRock.
