Last night, GF got mad at me for not caring. She had leg cramp and I've told her many times to stretch her leg against the cramped direction. She refuse to do it and ask me to do it for her, this happened while I was brushing my teeth. So i came running out holding my toothbrush and held her leg for her. I was pissed for some odd reason cause she insisted not holding it herself. Please note, I was dipping with toothpaste all over and holding her leg at this time. I then said she should've held it and said what if I wasn't here? what would you have done? then she got all pissed and say I was not caring :|, Ahhh crap! One of those days I guess, she refuse to talk to me eversince.
This morning, I received a call from a contractor concerning an error in our bid estimate. They might back charge us for the error. The Amount is roughly $15,000 dollars! :Q Boss calls me in and said I'm not happy with you not catching this sort of things.
I was assigned to work on the project with a senior engineer, this person has over 10 years of expereiences. As for me? I have zero experience in this type of project. Much of the coordination was done between my supervisor and our client which I have little knowledge of but was expected to know it all. I was only informed when things got changed. Guess I missed one of those changes and it had came back to bite me on the A$$.
The senior who worked with me had little knowledge of the project other than small design issues. I'm suppose to cover the grounds but did not performed.
I'm sure when corp. office finds out, everyone will point their fingers at me. I'm not blaming anyone other than myself for these mistakes but wishes someone would have reviewed my stuffs prior to sending them out. Many times, I have come to a dead end with no one else to turn to, I'm not learning nor gaining anything from this place.
I've only worked here for 1 year and soon to be kicked to the curb. Isnt that great?.
Thanks for reading.
