so i was having a debate with a friend about opening bananas. she said that monkeys do it the smart way, which is opening bananas from the bottom instead of the top (it is a lot easier that way).

this turned into a debate about the intelligence of monkeys. she said they are smart, i said not so much. finally i conceded that "monkeys may be better at some things like opening bananas, but humans are better at things like space travel".

and then it hit me: MONKEYS WENT TO SPACE BEFORE HUMANS. and they didnt even have to lift a finger!

could monkeys be the true Illuminati that P&N nutjobs post about? intelligent yet lazy incognito overlords of planet earth?

lmao! you do know most of those space monkeys never made it back right? they were test subjects put into rockets and shot into space to see what happens to the closest human simile. they didn't have to lift a finger because there wasn't anything they needed to do. the humans did all the work.

not even sure what you mean about opening a banana from the bottom...don't think I've ever paid enough attention or even saw this. never had a problem opening one from the top.

"Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.”

Supposedly monkey meat is delicious. :)

Don't look up monkey meat.

I'm not sure if it's delicious or not but an old room mate of mine who had been in the Navy said one of his best shore leaves was when he was in the Phillipines at a bar; drinking beer, getting a BJ under the table from a local hooker and eating grilled monkey meat.

Monkeys don't have to pay income tax.

Monkeys don't operate drones that kill other monkeys.

Monkeys don't maintain standing armies...

Smarter than humans?

And when they came back, they were dissected.
