Could mixing brands of RAM cause problems?

Right now I have 1 256MB stick of corsair pc2100 ddr and I was thinking of adding another one from Crucial. Could that cause problems? Would I be better off just buying another of the exact same type to be on the safe side, or does it not really make any difference?

You shouldn't have any problems. Both Corsair and Crucial make good quality RAM.
