Hello, I believe my laptop is acting up. This is a followup from my question here:

I could not get any feedback there, so I am starting to suspect it is power related. I have some questions:
1. Can a power adapter performance degrade over time.
2. Can a faulty power adapter cause a DVD to keep ejecting on its own, even though it is disabled in device manager.
3. Can connecting an external device to the laptop cause it to draw more power than a faulty power adapter can handle, that it causes system freezing.
