Could it possibly take any longer to release official drivers post-v.66.93??

I've been waiting for the "official" fix to the problem with horizontal lines (interlacing?) when in full screen mode for high resolution video, but, alas, I guess I'll continue to wait months...

Just dled Beta drivers. many of them are WHQL'ed iif your worried about that and work better than the "officials".

which one? I see a bunch listed in the driver thread but i'm honestly hesitant to install anything other than the official WHQL ones

Not sure. I use alot of the non WHWLed ones too. I would go to nvnews.net driver forum. They have alot more info about drivers than the thread here.

I think that the closest you can get to "official" right now, other than the same moldy 66.93s are the 67.66s on NZONE. I'm running these things now and have had ZERO problems with them, and I recommend them to any GeForce 6-Series owners out there.

Welcome to ATI-driver-land. 🙂

They always used to be the same way, you had to go scrounging for the drivers on their hidden "beta" site, which was for some reason totally seperate from their normal driver site. Those drivers often were far more stable, solid, performing, and bug-free than the official releases. At least this was largely true back in the days of the Rage/RagePro/Rage128 chipsets.
