Could I use a tile saw on brick as well?

Yes, but the clay in the bricks will eventually clog/dull up the diamond chips in the blade. The roughness of the bricks will also wear out the diamonds in the saw blade. Blades made for bricks (most brick saws dry cut) are much more aggressive.

Floor tiles made from clay actully clog up the diamonds too, just not as fast as cutting bricks will.

If you do clog/dull the diamond chips in your tile saw blade, you can clean them by cutting a fire brick
(the whiteish colored bricks masonry fireplaces are built out of) you just run the fire brick through the tile saw for a few passes until it starts cutting tiles better.
