My computer has been running awful loud as of late, and I've been looking for an excuse to build something new anyway. I don't want another upper mid end system, just something thats comprable to my current performance and silent. An aluminum case is a bonus.
The system that I want to sell:
NZXT Apollo (silver) steel case with some bonus LED fans and a pair of blue cathodes
Antec Smartpower 500 dual rail PSU
WD Caviar SE16 250gb
2cWD Caviar Black 500gb (raid 0, I'd kind of like to keep these)
Asus m2n-sli deluxe nf570sli
AMD Athlon x2 5200+ with Artic Silver 5 and a Zalman CNPS9500 - easily OC'ed to 3.0
4x1gb ddr2800 ram (2 patriot viper sticks from nvision, 2 pqi turbo sticks)
evga 8800gts 640mb gpu
Creative x-fi xtremegamer
I'd throw in my logitech g5 and g11 if they would make a difference. It gets a 5.6 on the WEI. I'm not sure how much to ask or where to try to sell it.
The system that I'm thinking of replacing this with would probably be around a phenom 720 because I've heard those are reasonably fast and cheap, though I don't know about heat. I'm really not sure what other hardware I want, the focus is quiet and inexpensive with performance taking a backseat as long as it can keep pace with my current build.
Can anyone help me out with either selling the old one or what parts to use in the new one?
