Could I overclock my e2140 to 3.2 with the stock cooling?

I know I would need to up the voltage to about 1.45.
When I first put the heatsink on I touched the preapplied grease with my finger a few times (1st build cmon and it did not look like grease either). If I was to buy some new grease and apply it properly along with lapping the heatsink a little, could I just keep the stock hsf?
How much more electricity would it use also?
I have 800mhz g.skill ram running at 667 (seems stupid to keep it slow).
This chip is 1.6 at stock, so if I double the speed then would it burn out faster?
I plan on upgrading to the 45nm quads in maybe 2 years, will it last me until then?
I heard above 80c is dangerous so If it gets near there then I'll slow it down.
Thanks in advance.

If you lap both the heatsink and CPU...and use arctic silver 5 (a paper-thin layer)...and have good airflow inside your case (most important)...

I'd say...maybe ;)

The answer is: "Do you feel lucky, punk?"

If that's 50C tjunction and not tcase at load you're probably good to go -- looks like you've got great airflow in your case. If not, most likely no go.

this is whatever coretemp says.
Edit: I changed the settings in core temp now it says:

63C to tjunction max remaining for both cores (right now I am at idle on the internet).

Why don't you just try ;) If it starts throttling then your sol :D I don't think it will hold up to well though, probably will have to invest in a arctic freezer 7 pro. What ambient temps btw ?
