Could I get into any trouble for selling my beta copy of SOCOM on the PSP?

I just got my beta copy of SOCOM: Fire Team Bravo for the PSP in the mail today, and I really don't care much for SOCOM. I popped it in and played online for a couple of minutes, but it's not my type of game.

I was wondering how much trouble I'd get in if I sold it? Anybody know the common laws about selling beta copies of games?

I dunno what the laws are, but I do know remember reading a magazine article of beta games from older consoles are very sought after (because of different music tracks and things taht didn't make the cut). And they would be sold regularly for eigth to nine times their value. I think you can sell it AFTER the game is released.

It may be serialized / watermarked (so traceable to you) if it's a recordable disc instead of manufactured one.

If you signed an agreement not to pass it on to anyone else you could get in big trouble, though only if it ends up on the internets as an iso for use with some PSP hack.

most likely you signed an agreement to say you'd never sell or transfer the betas
