Could I get away with cooling a 630 with 1 low speed fan?

I want to swap out the fan in my Dell as its a bit noisy but considering the reputation that Intels have for creating heat, I would like to ask first before plunking down money for a fan.

Now I know that this probably wouldn't work with a standard heatsink but the heatsink in the Dell is actually a pretty impressive looking unit. Its a "tower" heatsink that has a copper base with 6 heatpipes(!) sticking out of it. It has aluminum fins and looks quite efficient at trasnfering heat. It looks similar to the one they use to cool the Dell Renegade at 4.25ghz....

My roomate bought a Dell desktop, and you're right they do have pretty nice heatsinks. Anyway, after about a year of 24/7 WoW use the CPU fan started to whine, so I told him to buy silent TT fan as a replacement. It's working fine.

If you don't mind me running, which model was it?
