Walked up to the BOA ATM @ the hospital I work at and I see the message. "Your transaction is about to timeout, continue?" I wait till it goes away and this guys platinum card pops out. I remember the dude walking away from the ATM before i got to it, some arab dude in full muslim garb. Prob some Sheik with a shitload of money. Oh well maybe i should have hit the "Continue transaction?"

:)

p.s I NEVER would have used his card. I went to the security guard and gave it to him .

If you used his card, he wouldn't have lost any money anyways (BOA is good about refunding unauthorized transactions) and your face would have been on an ATM security camera.

lol. :) That reminds me of years ago, where I had a misunderstanding with a credit card company, where I had made a payment, and I had evidence the check had cleared my bank, but the card company had not posted my payment. We'll unbeknownst to me, I go to take a cash advance and the machine ate my card, only to spit it out about 45 seconds later, with the Visa logo ground off, and under that it said "void".

My cc company apologized profusely and express mailed me a new card.

If you hit that, I bet the very next thing you had to do was to input the PIN.

If the card gets returned to the bank, they'll cut it up and have him come in for a new one.

This happened to me once, years ago. Wlaked up to the ATM and it said "do you want another transaction?" I said "no" and took the card (a credit card) inside to the bank cashier.

After I did it, I wondered if I did the right thing. I'd just handed some guy's credit card to a stranger. In hindsight, I should have called the issuing bank.

My bank's ATM down at the college campus I went to had a swiper instead of the machine grabbing the card - and so many people walked away without responding to the last question, "Do you want to make another transaction?" If they went to the camera, they'd have me swiping my card, pushing the prompts, and receiving cash. Probably could have plaid dumb and gotten out of anything if found out. But I have that stupid thing called morals, and always cleared out the last person's transactions.

You just stumbled on a covert way of passing cash and account access between terrorists.

so i want to see security guards looking at the camera of me screaming at them. :D

Once I was in a hurry at an atm kiosk next the mall ( 4 parking spaces in a tiny lot with a covered atm) . I grabbed my cash. Got in the car and left. I went into a store, opened my wallet and realized my card was gone.

I went straight home and called my CC company and in less than 30 minutes someone had charged my card 3 times at 3 different places for a total of 30 bucks. It was amazing. I didnt have to pay it btw.

That's what they call credit card protection and goverment regulation. The Cell Phone industry tries very hard not to get imposed by the same rules.
