Could BSG get any better?

Yes it could, the week before was better.

The first season was pretty good, but I have no idea what happened to the second one cos it stunk. Season 3 has been more interesting but I'm worried it's gonna fall into the same pattern as #2.

I pretty much agree with you. I started losing interest in the second half of season 2. Season 3 has been better, but I really want this season to be the last one before the whole show just blows.

The ratings could be better. Breaking up SG1, Atlantis and BSG was a HUGE mistake. I just hope it doesn't cost us BSG.

I'm surprised how quickly they escaped New Caprica. I originally expected that to drag on for a good while.

It's very good, but they gotta start nailing down the plot pretty quick. For instance, how will they handle having two XO's? Not to mention commander and admiral adama (sp?) on the same ship.

to answer your question....no!
The show is great, there is a lot to be seen as far as plots and characters yes, but this is still early enough in the season that a lot will happen before it is all said and done. Stay loyal fellow BSGers, the best is yet to come!

I think Tye is the reigning XO. That's not a question.
Commander Apollor versus Admiral Adama? Its father and son. And even still Admiral outweighs Commander.

It just had a distinct feel of too many cooks in the kitchen to me. We'll see how it goes though.

Oh I think there is CERTAINLY going to be "issues" between Tye and Adama. That was foreshadowed after they got of New Caprica and Adama was being carried away on shoulders and Tye was reduced to a shell of a man slunking away. Obviously highlighted in last Friday's show too with Tye being much less forgiving and much more hard handed than Adama is. They will ram heads for sure.

QFT, Tigh came into his own on NC and it's going to be hard for him to be under a command again.
